Wiedemann & Berg Film was founded in 2003 by Quirin Berg and Max Wiedemann. Marcus Welke has also been part of the management team since February 2024 and Steffi Ackermann since March 2024.
W&B Television was founded in 2010 by Quirin Berg and Max Wiedemann. Oliver Vogel was appointed as additional managing director in February 2021 and Benjamin Benedict in November 2022.
Both companies are part of the newly founded LEONINE Studios since January 2020. Quirin Berg and Max Wiedemann are both shareholders and co-founders of LEONINE Studios and manage LEONINE Studios’ entire fiction production as Chief Production Officers. Quirin Berg also holds the position of Chief Creative Officer for LEONINE Studios and is responsible for the creative direction of the group. In his role as Chief Business Development Officer, Max Wiedemann is also responsible for the development and integration of new business areas.

Wiedemann & Berg has stood for high-quality and successful feature films and series for  over 20 years. The over 160 productions include the Oscar®-winning THE LIVES OF OTHERS, the two-time Oscar®-nominated NEVER LOOK AWAY, multiple number one hits such as WHO AM I – NO SYSTEM IS SAFE and NIGHTLIFE. Recent releases include THE THREE INVESTIGATORS, WEEKEND REBELS and the international biopic GIRL YOU KNOW IT’S TRUE. The comedy EVERYTHING FIFTY FIFTY itook the big screen by storm this summer, and on 31 October, Simon Verhoeven’s OLD WHITE MAN starring Jan Josef Liefers will be released.

In addition, there are numerous series for international streaming providers such as the first German Netflix Original “Dark”, the celebrated cult show “4 Blocks” (Warner TV Serie), “Pagan Peak”, one of the first originals for Sky as well as “Para – We are King” (Warner TV Serie), “Der Pass” as one of the first originals for Sky, “The Gryphon” for Amazon Prime Video, “One Trillion Dollars” for Paramount+ and the first season of the Netflix series “Crooks”. The second season is currently in preparation.
